Activity: Smile Club

I’ve started an after school activity, called Operation Smile Prem. There are about 10 of us, with a supervisor. First of all, I introduced them what Operation Smile is, some facts about Cleft lip and palate, and my experience from the mission trip to Ubon. We came up with many ideas, and right now we are working on hosting weekly 'minute to win it' games in the senior school, to raise awareness about Operation Smile. We've also made an Operation Smile Board, where we can post announcements and messages there. Last week we put a question on the board: "What Makes you Smile?", and had post-its for people to reply. There were a lot of replies, and this raised a lot of curiosity in the school. This week, we posted: "Do you know that.. 1 in 500 babies in Thailand are born with a facial deformity?". Also, our school just had International Day, and my friends and I decided to donate the profit we got from making a Haunted House to Operation Smile. Also, we made Operation Smile Prem Pins, and we are selling them in school for 30 Baht.
